Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her career as an actor in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt in which she played Willa McPherson in the role of a reporter. She also appeared in as a support character on the show with a short run The Ex List. She was Kaylee as a young Moira in the first season of FX's American Horror Story. The character was played by Jessie on AMC's The Walking Dead. Sophie played her character in The NBC show This Is Us. She also voiced a variety of characters from the animated comedy series of Family Guy. She is currently voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe, a character on Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she reached the age of 10, at which point her mother and she relocated to California [1and a half years ago] where they lived for a while before moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to take an interest in acting, singing, and photography at the age of 13. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue a career in acting.
