Molly was raised in Pennsylvania. Her first professional career when she was thirteen and was a part of Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. She was then nominated as one of the Barrymore Award nominee for her character of Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production of Into the Woods. The role was reprised as she made her Broadway d but at the age 15 in the production of Into the Woods, on Broadway. She was also nominated as an award for the Drama League Award. Molly performed on Broadway in the 2004 revival of Fiddler on the Roof. She attended Princeton University as a Triangle Club Membership and earned a B.A. She graduated in 2008 with the degree of B.A. While she was in university, Molly was the first actress to make her debut on stage in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly began her career after graduating with Off-Broadway performances, which included End Days and The Wonderful Maladys at HBO Pilot. Molly was in a variety of regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in the Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre and Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 performance of The Diary of Anne Frank. She was Anne. Molly is best known as the character Ali, a teenage daughter, in Paranormal Activity 2, a film from 2010, in which Jack Burditt wrote and directed the ABC comedy Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen.
